New Community Partnership Announced

Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust is delighted to announce a new community partnership agreement with Sincil Sports College. The College, situated next to Sincil Bank Stadium in Park Ward, Lincoln, caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) and was awarded Specialist Sports College status in 2009. The new community partnership will jointly support the aims of both the Trust and the College, which both work to develop and sustain close links with the local community. The agreement will have a specific focus on the exciting new Active Leisure & Learning apprenticeship programme which will be delivered by Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust.

“As a registered charity, building links with the local community is core to our work and partnership working is of paramount importance to us”, said Richard Cooper, Community Manager for LCFCSET. “By working together, we can use our joint resources to achieve the aims which both partners share. Sincil Sports College provides high quality sport at the core of its curriculum, and hopefully our Active Leisure & Learning apprenticeship programme will provide an exciting exit route for pupils at the College,” he added.
