The game between South Hykeham and St Hughs started off very lively, with South Hykeham scoring in the first few minutes. The goal came from a free kick taken by Liam Apps, which was then deflected into the goal by a St Hughs defender.
St Hughs desperately tried to get the goal back with shots from James Clarke and Callum Hill which just went wide of the target. South Hykeham then tried to stretch their lead with several shots from Jake Burroughs and Anthony Hollin which also went wide of the goal.
Jon Smith, for St Hughs, then scored in the last couple of minutes to try and scrape back a chance of being put through to the final. The final whistle blew and South Hykeham go through to the final, winning 3-2 on shots on goal.
