Our 'One Game One Community' week of action kicked off this year with a workshop attended by youngsters from the Prince's Trust. The workshop encouraged the youngsters to share their experiences of racism, prejudice and discrimination and included a variety of practical group activities. "The workshop led to a frank and open discussion on many issues in society and in sport" said Damian Froggatt, Schools Programme Coordinator. "The students were very well-informed and everyone made a positive contribution to the debate."
Jamie Roberts, regional Sport Development Manager for the Prince's Trust, added, "The session worked really well and we have more workshops planned with the Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust team". The group were also presented with a signed football and signed Imps shirt which they plan to use to raise funds for their selected charity.
The Prince's Trust charity provides support, education, skills and motivation for young people. For more information on the work of the Prince's Trust visit www.princes-trust.org.uk
