Kick it Out

Focus is on addressing the imbalance in representation in the football world. Although we see black players at most clubs, many don’t make the transition into management. In addition, we see an alarming lack of British-Asian players making the grade professionally, and very few women adopting senior board level positions. We are also working with key partners on addressing other areas of exclusion and discrimination, including tackling homophobia, encouraging more work to be done to involve people with a disability and to make grounds safer places for all fans. Here in the UK, old issues still persist in different forms, and with the re-emergence of far-right groups intent on using football as a recruiting ground, it’s our role to encourage fans to resist these groups.
