The Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust team recently teamed up with St Hugh’s RC Primary School to support an artistic competition. The Health Poster competition, devised by members of the School Council, encouraged pupils to express their artistic talents to demonstrate the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle.
Teaching staff at St Hugh's place great emphasis on sport and activity within the curriculum with tennis, swimming, netball, athletics, hockey, tag rugby, gymnastics and of course football all high on the school’s agenda.
Coaching staff from LCFCSET currently deliver both curriculum-time PE and after-school clubs at St Hugh’s, and we were delighted to support the competition by donating signed skills footballs as prizes.
Community Coach Tracy Nixon is pictured here presenting the prizes to the winning pupils from both the infant and junior age groups.
