Schools Programme
Our Disability Schools Programmes covers the whole of Lincolnshire working in each of the Special Schools in the County. The sessions we currently provide are funded through our “Every Player Counts” project. This funding allows us to target each school with an offer of a morning or afternoon one day a week for a whole term.
Each school specialises in a different area of disability and the 5 types of special school in Lincolnshire are Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Sensory and/or Physical and Hospital Schools.
Due to each school being individual with different groups of children, we tailor all of our School sessions to suit the need of every child in every class at every school we work in. As conversations between ourselves and the school take place before the first session we are prepared and understand the group and the delivery setting at each school.
Some of the most popular activities we are currently providing include:-
• Football
• Throwing and Catching
• Multi Skills
• New Age Kurling
• Boccia
• New Age Bowls
• Team challenges
• Bowling
• Hockey
• Tri Golf
Although these are our most popular, we provide an extensive range of sports and activities and are always seeking to lead the way in providing new up and coming activities.
