Disability Aims
The main aim of our Disability Programme here at Lincoln City FC Sport & Education Trust is to provide sessions totally inclusive to anybody with a disability, supporting them to participate, develop and compete as individuals or teams and to improve life skills and life quality. With this in mind our objectives are as follows:
• To deliver a top quality product.
• To develop a team of staff who hold relevant qualifications and have been trained and understand different aspects of disabilities and challenges they might face whist delivering activities.
• To deliver evening multi sports activities to encourage people to come and participate no matter what sports they like.
• To have activities available during schools holidays to allow parents to drop their child/children off whilst they go to work or for a short break.
• To identify gaps in provision in Lincolnshire and try to create opportunities to fill the gaps.
• To work with a variety of partners to develop new opportunities in sport or to strengthen existing projects.
• To meet with and listen to parents and action groups to find out what their views, ideas and problems are to, if possible, incorporate and develop them for the benefit of those with disabilities in Lincolnshire.
